Kern Carson (Kern Clay Carson) was born on January 29, 1941 in Hope, Arkansas. After going to high school at Abraham Lincoln (San Diego, CA), Carson attended San Diego State University. Carson made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 1 year career.
