Kerby Farrell (Major Kerby Farrell) was born on September 3, 1913 in Leapwood, Tennessee. He made his Major League debut on April 24, 1943 for the Boston Braves. In 1943, his rookie year, he hit .268 with 0 home runs and 21 RBI. Farrell played for the Boston Braves and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 2 year career.
