Born on September 4, 1946 in Pensacola, Florida, Ken Wright (Kenneth Warren Wright) played for the Kansas City Royals and New York Yankees over the course of his 5 year career. Wright broke into the bigs on April 10, 1970 with the Kansas City Royals, and put up a 5.23 ERA in 53.1 innings pitched in 1970, his rookie year.
