Ken Ellis (Kenneth Alfonzo Ellis) was born on September 27, 1947 in Woodbine, Georgia. After going to high school at Ralph J. Bunche (Woodbine, GA), Ellis attended Southern University. Ellis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1972 was Ken Ellis's best year, as he picked off 4 passes, ran back an interception for a touchdown and ran back a punt for a touchdown.
