Ken Byers (Kenneth Vernon Byers, Jr.) was born on April 6, 1940 in Logan, Ohio. After going to high school at Linden-McKinley (Columbus, OH), Byers attended the University of Cincinnati. Byers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 4 year career.
