Ken Barfield (Kenneth Alfred Barfield) was born on July 19, 1929 in Sunnyside, Georgia. After going to high school at Spalding, Barfield attended the University of Mississippi. Barfield made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 1 year career.
