Karl Farmer (Karl Anthony Farmer) was born on August 28, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Washington (Los Angeles, CA), Farmer attended Los Angeles Southwest College and the University of Pittsburgh. Farmer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1977 was Karl Farmer's best year, as he had 419 kick return yards.
