Milwaukee Brewers' prospects Rickie Weeks and Prince Fielder each hit their first major league home runs in an Interleague game against the Minnesota Twins. Fielder's is a pinch-hit shot that was the eventual game-winner.

Tommy Corcoran, who hit .256 and stole 387 bases from 1890 to 1907, died. He was 91 years old.
