Born on January 23, 1979 in Maracaibo, Zulia (Venezuela), Juan Rincon (Juan Manuel Rincon) played for the Minnesota Twins for his entire 6 year career. Rincon broke into the bigs on June 7, 2001 with the Minnesota Twins, and put up a 3.68 ERA in 85.2 innings pitched in 2003, his rookie year.
On May 2, 2005, Rincon was suspended for ten games for violating the Major League Baseball steroid policy. [1]
Most people believe that Juan Rincon's best season was 2004, when he posted a 2.63 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 106 batters.
