Born on August 9, 1973 in Coral Gables, Florida, Juan Alvarez (Juan M. Alvarez) played for the Anaheim Angels, Texas Rangers and Florida Marlins over the course of his 4 year career. Alvarez broke into the bigs on September 1, 1999 with the Anaheim Angels.
