Jose Valentin (Jose Antonio (Rosario) Valentin) was born on October 12, 1969 in Manati, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on September 17, 1992 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1994, his rookie year, he hit .239 with 11 home runs and 46 RBI. Valentin played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets over the course of his 15 year career.

Most people believe that Jose Valentin's best season was 2000, when he slugged 25 home runs and knocked in 92 runs.
