Jon Henderson (Jon Elliott Henderson) was born on December 17, 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Westinghouse (Pittsburgh, PA), Henderson attended Colorado State University. Henderson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Redskins over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1969 was Jon Henderson's best year.
