Jon Evans (Jon Albert Evans) was born on January 31, 1936 in Tyler, Texas. After going to high school at Bartlesville (OK), Evans attended Oklahoma State University. Evans made his professional debut in the NFL in 1958 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
