Johnny Grabowski (John Patrick Grabowski) was born on January 7, 1900 in Ware, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on July 11, 1924 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1927, his rookie year, he hit .277 with 0 home runs and 25 RBI. Grabowski played for the Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Johnny Grabowski's best season was 1927, when he hit for a .277 average.
