Johnny Butler (John Stephen Butler) was born on March 20, 1893 in Fall River, Kansas. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1926 for the Brooklyn Robins. In 1926, his rookie year, he hit .269 with 1 home run and 68 RBI. Butler played for the Brooklyn Robins, Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 4 year career.
