Johnny Barrett (John Francis Barrett) was born on August 29, 1895. After going to high school at Keewatin Academy (Prairie du Chien, WI) and Oak Park (IL), Barrett attended Washington and Lee University. Barrett made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Chicago Tigers. He played for the Chicago Tigers for his entire 1 year career.
