John Sanders (John Maurice Sanders) was born on January 11, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD), Sanders attended the University of South Dakota. Sanders made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1977 was John Sanders's best year, as he picked off 6 passes.
