John Roper (John Alfred Roper) was born on October 4, 1965 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at Jack Yates (Houston. TX), Roper attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Roper made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1991 was John Roper's best year, as he recorded 8 sacks.
