John Polanski (John B. Polanski) was born on September 6, 1918 in Buffalo, New York. Polanski attended Wake Forest University. Polanski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Detroit Lions. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Detroit Lions the entire time. Polanski also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Los Angeles Dons the entire time.
