John Noppenberg (John L. Noppenberg) was born on September 8, 1917 in Wallace, Michigan. After going to high school at Menominee (WI), Noppenberg attended the University of Miami. Noppenberg made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1940 was John Noppenberg's best year.
