John Kellison (John Snowden Kellison) was born on November 3, 1886 in Buckeye, West Virginia. Kellison attended West Virginia Wesleyan College. Kellison made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Canton Bulldogs. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Canton Bulldogs the entire time. Kellison also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Toledo Maroons the entire time.
