Joey Jackson (Michael Joseph Jackson) was born on May 7, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio. After going to high school at Cincinnati (OH), Jackson attended New Mexico State University. Jackson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 3 year career.
