Joe Skladany (Joseph P. Skladany) was born on May 25, 1911 in Larksville, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Larksville (PA), Skladany attended the University of Pittsburgh. Skladany made his professional debut in the NFL in 1934 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career.
