Joe Sabasteanski (Joseph E. Sabasteanski) was born on February 24, 1921 in Portland, Maine. After going to high school at Portland (ME), Sabasteanski attended Fordham University. Sabasteanski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Boston Yanks. He played for the Boston Yanks and New York Bulldogs over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1948 was Joe Sabasteanski's best year.
