Joe Kopcha (Joseph Edwards Kopcha) was born on December 23, 1905 in Whiting, Indiana. After going to high school at Whiting (IN)#, Kopcha attended the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. Kopcha made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1934 was Joe Kopcha's best year.
