Joe Klecko

Joe Klecko (Joseph Edward Klecko) was born on October 15, 1953 in Chester, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at St. James (Chester, PA), Klecko attended Temple University. Klecko made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts over the course of his 12 year career. Klecko co-anchored the famed New York Sack Exchange of the 1980s with Mark Gastineau.
Most people believe that 1985 was Joe Klecko's best year, as he recorded 7.5 sacks.
Klecko was known to be a very versatile football player. Capable of playing tight end, offensive lineman, defensive lineman, and made the Pro Bowl multiple times in multiple positions.
