Joe Davidson (Joseph Burl Davidson) was born on January 24, 1903 in Durand, Michigan. After going to high school at Ovid (MI), Davidson attended Colgate University and Oklahoma State University. Davidson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1928 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Newark Tornadoes and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 2 year career.
