Joe Bukant (Joseph Bukant) was born on October 31, 1915 in Divernon, Illinois. Bukant attended Washington University in St. Louis. Bukant made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1939 was Joe Bukant's best year.
