Acquired:
Traded from the B.C. Lions in exchange for a player on Hamilton's negotiation list and a conditional third round selection in the 2007 CFL Canadian College Draft on January 31, 2006.
2006:
The veteran linebacker was traded to the Tiger-Cats from B.C. on January 31st, 2006 in exchange for the negotiation rights to offensive tackle David Pruce and a conditional draft pick in 2007…started all 18 games at outside linebacker during his first season with Hamilton, leading the team with 68 defensive tackles…finished in a tie for second on the team with five quarterback sacks…had 10 special teams tackles, forced one fumble and one pass knock down…made two defensive tackles in his Tiger-Cats debut, a 27-17 season opening loss at Toronto…in the Tiger-Cats 20-17 victory over Calgary on July 14th Armour made five defensive tackles and one quarterback sack…made seven defensive tackles and one special teams tackle in Hamilton’s 11-9 loss at Toronto on September 9th…made five defensive tackles and one quarterback sack in Hamilton’s 28-8 loss to B.C. on September 30th…in the Tiger-Cats 23-17 loss at B.C. on October 21st, Armour made a season high 10 defensive tackles.
2005:
Played in 14 games during his second season with the Lions...finished tied for fourth with 11 special teams tackles and made six defensive tackles…missed the final four games of the regular season due to injury...in B.C.’s 27-20 season opening victory at Toronto Armour made a season high two special teams tackles...in the Lions 37-29 victory over Ottawa on July 8th, Armour made two defensive tackles...made two special teams tackles in the Lions 30-22 victory over Toronto on July 15th...in B.C.’s 61-27 victory at Ottawa on September 8th, Armour made a season high three defensive tackles and two special teams tackles.
2004:
The B.C. Lions signed Armour as a free-agent on June 4th, 2004...he played in four games during his first season with the Lions, making 14 defensive tackles including one for a one yard loss and two special teams tackles...in his B.C. debut, a 25-9 loss to Edmonton on July 9th, Armour made one defensive tackle...he made four defensive tackles and two special teams tackles in the Lions 22-16 loss at Toronto on October 11th...in the Lions 40-38 victory over Saskatchewan on October 30th, Armour made a season high six defensive tackles...recovered a fumble in the B.C.’s 27-19 Grey Cup loss to Toronto.
2003:
Attended the Bengals training camp and played in three games during the pre-season, making three total tackles (2 solo)...was released by Cincinnati on August 26th.
2002:
Started eight of 16 games played at strong safety during the regular season...ranked ninth on the Bengals with 61 total tackles (45 solo) and ranked sixth with six passes knocked down…had the Bengals on blocked kick of the season finished tied for sixth with 10 special teams tackles.
2001:
Played in all 16 games, making 11 starts at strong safety...finished fifth on the Bengals with 77 total tackles (36 solo).
2000:
Played in four games during his second season with Cincinnati...opened training camp at strong safety before being moved to outside linebacker during the second week of the regular season.
1999]:
The Oakland Raiders drafted Armour in the seventh round (224th overall) of the 1999 NFL Draft...attended the Raiders training camp and was converted to strong safety from his college position of linebacker...was released by Oakland on September 4th and claimed off waivers the next day by the Jacksonville Jaguars...was inactive for Jacksonville’s 41-3 season opening victory over San Francisco and their 22-20 victory at Carolina on September 19th...was released by Jacksonville and subsequently claimed off waivers by the Cincinnati Bengals the next day...after being inactive for the Bengals in their 27-3 loss at Carolina on September 26th, Armour made his NFL debut, playing on special teams in Cincinnati’s 33-10 loss to St. Louis on October 3rd.
College:
Played four season with the Miami University (Ohio) Red Hawks...was a two-time Mid America Conference Defensive Player of the year, winning it as a junior and senior...played in all 44 games of hid Red Hawk career, with 37 starts...finished his collegiate career ranked 10th all-time at Miami with 396 total tackles...made 67 tackles for 297 yards in losses, the second most in school history and 24.5 quarterback sacks, the third highest total...recovered six fumbles and forced three fumbles...intercepted four passes and knocked down 14 others...garnered three All-MAC selections and was a third team All-American as a senior...was a four year letterman with Miami and helped the Red Hawks to a record of 32-11-1 during his career.
Personal:
Armour was a four-year starter as LB and RB at Toledo's Central Catholic High School; he left the school as the only four-year varsity starter in school history. Has a beautiful wife named Myriah. His hobbies include movies, video games, and gatherings with family and friends. While attending Miami he majored in education (African American Studies) and graduated this past spring.
