Born on January 21, 1895 in Benton, Arkansas, Jimmy Zinn (James Edward Zinn) played for the Philadelphia Athletics, Pittsburgh Pirates and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 5 year career. Zinn broke into the bigs on September 4, 1919 with the Philadelphia Athletics, and put up a 3.68 ERA in 127.1 innings pitched in 1921, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Jimmy Zinn's best season was 1921, when he posted a 3.68 ERA.
