Jimmy Sims (James Sims) was born on December 18, 1950 in Kountze, Texas. After going to high school at Locke (Los Angeles, CA), Sims attended Los Angeles Harbor College and the University of Southern California. Sims made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 1 year career.
