Jimmy Blumenstock (James A. Blumenstock) was born on April 28, 1918 in Rutherford, New Jersey. After going to high school at Rutherford (NJ), Blumenstock attended Fordham University. Blumenstock made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
