Jim Yeager (James Roland Yeager) was born on September 21, 1903 in Reading, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Reading (PA) and Shuylkill Academy (Schuylkill, PA), Yeager attended Lehigh University. Yeager made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Brooklyn Lions. He played for the Brooklyn Lions for his entire 1 year career.
