Jim Wohlford (James Eugene Wohlford) was born on February 28, 1951 in Visalia, California. He made his Major League debut on September 1, 1972 for the Kansas City Royals. In 1974, his rookie year, he hit .271 with 2 home runs and 44 RBI. Wohlford played for the Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, San Francisco Giants and Montreal Expos over the course of his 15 year career.
