Born on September 1, 1919 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Jim Hopper (James McDaniel Hopper) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career. Hopper broke into the bigs on April 21, 1946 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
