Jim Furey (James Andrew Furey) was born on September 22, 1932 in Newark, New Jersey. After going to high school at Barringer (Newark, NJ) and St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ), Furey attended Kansas State University. Furey made his professional debut in the AFL in 1961 with the New York Titans. He played for the New York Titans for his entire 1 year career.
