Jim Ford (James Leon Ford) was born on September 11, 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida. After going to high school at New Staunton (Jacksonville, FL), Ford attended Texas Southern University. Ford made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1971 was Jim Ford's best year.
