Jim Flower (James Tod Flower, Jr) was born on October 17, 1895 in Akron, Ohio. After going to high school at Central (Akron, OH), Flower attended Ohio State University. Flower made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Columbus Panhandles. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Akron Pros and Columbus Panhandles over the course of his 2 year APFA career.Flower also played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Akron Pros the entire time.
