Jim Fairey (James Burke Fairey) was born on September 22, 1944 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1968 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1968, his rookie year, he hit .199 with 1 home run and 10 RBI. Fairey played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Montreal Expos over the course of his 5 year career.
