Jim Baumer (James Sloan Baumer) was born on January 29, 1931 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He made his Major League debut on September 14, 1949 for the Chicago White Sox. Baumer played for the Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 2 year career.
