Jim Allison (James Russell Allison) was born on March 2, 1943 in Richmond, California. After going to high school at Redondo Beach (CA), Allison attended El Camino JC and San Diego State University. Allison made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1966 was Jim Allison's best year.
