Jets Fill Void at Running Back, Acquire Jones from the Bears

According to nfl.com, the Jets have made a trade with the Bears, acquiring Thomas Jones and the 63rd pick in the upcoming draft, in exchange for the 37th pick. The trade is expected to be approved by the league on Tuesday.
With the move, the Jets fill the sorely needed void at top running back left by Curtis Martin, while the Bears are able to elevate Cedric Benson to starter.
