Jeremy Giambi (Jeremy Dean Giambi) was born on September 30, 1974 in San Jose, California. He made his Major League debut on September 1, 1998 for the Kansas City Royals. In 1999, his rookie year, he hit .285 with 3 home runs and 34 RBI. Giambi played for the Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics, Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 6 year career.

Giambi was also mentioned in the Mitchell Report. It was said that he was involved in the BALCO scandal. He admitted that he used steroids in the MLB to the Kansas City Star, and apologized.

Most people believe that Jeremy Giambi's best season was 2001, when he hit for a .283 average and knocked in 57 runs.
