Jeff Severson (Jeffrey Kent Severson) was born on September 16, 1949 in Fargo, North Dakota. After going to high school at Wilson (Long Beach, CA), Severson attended California State University, Long Beach. Severson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Oilers, Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1973 was Jeff Severson's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
