Jeff Liefer (Jeffrey David Liefer) was born on August 17, 1974 in Fontana, California. He made his Major League debut on April 7, 1999 for the Chicago White Sox. In 2001, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 18 home runs and 39 RBI. Liefer played for the Chicago White Sox, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Montreal Expos, Milwaukee Brewers and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Jeff Liefer's best season was 2001, when he slugged 18 home runs.
