Jazz Jackson (Clarence Jackson, Jr.) was born on March 5, 1952 in Knoxville, Tennessee. After going to high school at Austin-East (Knoxville, TN), Jackson attended Western Kentucky University. Jackson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Jazz Jackson's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
