Jay Saldi (John Jay Saldi) was born on October 8, 1954 in White Plains, New York. After going to high school at White Plains (NY), Saldi attended the University of South Carolina. Saldi made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1980 was Jay Saldi's best year.
