Jay Johnson (Oliver Jay Johnson) was born on October 8, 1945 in East Orange, New Jersey. After going to high school at Montclair (NJ), Johnson attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Commerce. Johnson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 2 year career.
