Born on February 2, 1983 in Apple Valley, Washington, Jason Vargas (Jason Matthew Vargas) played for the Florida Marlins for his entire 2 year career. Vargas broke into the bigs on July 14, 2005 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 4.03 ERA in 73.2 innings pitched in 2005, his rookie year.
