Jason Goss (Jason Tamon Goss) was born on October 4, 1979.After going to high school at O.D. Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX), Goss attended Texas Christian Universitywhere he played four seasons. At Texas Christian University he posted 160 tackles, 56 pass deflections and 14 interceptions, he ranks fifth on the school’s career-record list. He also returned 39 punts for 399 yards and a touchdown.

Played in four games with the Arizona Cardinals during the regular season after they claimed him off waivers from the Chicago Bears on September 1st...finished the regular season with one solo tackle and one punt return for seven yards...made his NFL debut in Arizona's 50-14 loss in San Francisco on December 7th...signed as an un-drafted free-agent with the Chicago Bears on April 28th...attended the Bears training camp and was released on August 31.

Goss was traded to the Edmonton Eskimos on February 13.Goss was named Edmonton's top defensive player. Goss started the final 17 games of the regular season in his first season in Edmonton, leading the team in interceptions with five. Goss returned two of those interceptions for touchdowns, placing him second all-time with six career interception return touchdowns. He was second on the Eskimos in pass knockdowns with six.
