College/Personal

Jason Goss (Jason Tamon Goss) was born on October 4, 1979.After going to high school at O.D. Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX), Goss attended Texas Christian Universitywhere he played four seasons. At Texas Christian University he posted 160 tackles, 56 pass deflections and 14 interceptions, he ranks fifth on the school’s career-record list. He also returned 39 punts for 399 yards and a touchdown.

2003

Played in four games with the Arizona Cardinals during the regular season after they claimed him off waivers from the Chicago Bears on September 1st...finished the regular season with one solo tackle and one punt return for seven yards...made his NFL debut in Arizona's 50-14 loss in San Francisco on December 7th...signed as an un-drafted free-agent with the Chicago Bears on April 28th...attended the Bears training camp and was released on August 31.

2004

Made two defensive tackles and returned four punts 16 yards in the Hamilton Tiger-cats 24-6 East Semi-Final loss in Toronto...returned three punts in Hamilton's 24-19 victory in Ottawa on October 30th...returned seven punts 46 yards, made two defensive tackles and knocked down one pass in Hamilton's 38-31 loss in Toronto on October 21st...recovered a key fumble in overtime to secure the Tiger-Cats a 20-17 victory over Ottawa on October 15th to clinch the Hamilton their first playoff berth since 2001...made one defensive tackle and returned three punts 17 yards in Hamilton's 20-13 victory over Winnipeg on October 8th...made four defensive tackles, returned five punts 93 yards and two kickoffs 34 yards in Hamilton's 30-27 victory over Edmonton on October 1st...made two defensive tackles and one special teams tackle in Hamilton's 32-30 loss to Saskatchewan on September 19th...in his Tiger-Cat debut, a 47-18 loss in Montreal on September 12th, Goss made two defensive tackles and forced one fumble...re-signed with Arizona on March 26th...attended the Cardinal's training camp and was released on August 22nd.

2006

Played in 10 games posting 29 defensive tackles, three knockdowns, one sack, one forced fumble and one tackle for a loss. He also had two interceptions. One he returned 109 yards for a touchdown against Calgary and the other he returned 53 yards for a touchdown against Montreal.

2007

Goss was traded to the Edmonton Eskimos on February 13.Goss was named Edmonton's top defensive player. Goss started the final 17 games of the regular season in his first season in Edmonton, leading the team in interceptions with five. Goss returned two of those interceptions for touchdowns, placing him second all-time with six career interception return touchdowns. He was second on the Eskimos in pass knockdowns with six.
